I'm Lori, your photographer. I'm also a mom, wife, educator, mentor and (multiple) business owner. I get it.
I often forget to care for myself when I'm juggling so many balls. Life is BUSY. But photos like the one right here (that's me) give me a new perspective on myself.
I specialize in helping women see their own beauty... for the first time in years, or sometimes for the first time ever.
I believe EVERY woman needs this experience.

I'M A MOM.
and all that it implies
My two oldest are off into the world, living their own lives.
But my youngest just turned three. As a mom to a toddler, we are IN IT right now.
The big feelings. The schedules that are incompatible with spontaneity. The food choices, the nap times, and alllllll the little adjustments we make for our little ones.
As moms, it becomes second nature to put that tiny person's needs first. Everything is immediate; everything is now.
After a while, we start to forget what our own needs are. And when we do remember, we feel guilty prioritizing them.
Let me tell you - I've found that I am the best version of myself, including being the best mom, when I do a few special things for me.

I am recognized as an expert and leader in my field.
I have had the privilege and the honor of being an invited speaker at some of the largest photography conferences in the world, including Imaging USA, Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, Shutterfest, and more.
I've also been featured in Professional Photographer magazine, Shutter magazine, and SLR Lounge.
The classes that I've taught were chosen specifically for my expertise in posing, lighting, boudoir photography, and business.
A boudoir photoshoot requires incredible skill in posing and lighting, as well as a deep empathy for the person being photographed to understand their deepest insecurities. Done well, a boudoir shoot can build one's confidence to the highest of levels. Done poorly, it can smash that confidence to bits.
I have dedicated my career to continually honing my skills and perfecting my craft. My goal is for every person to leave my studio feeling like the best possible version of themselves.
