Invited to Speak at Imaging USA: National Expertise in Boudoir Photography

I was recently invited to speak at Imaging USA, one of the largest professional photography conferences in the country, hosted by the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
For photographers, this is a big deal. But what matters more is what it means for you.
When a photographer is invited to teach at a national conference, it means their work, approach, and methodology have been recognized by industry peers as worth learning from. It means the posing, lighting, and client experience you receive in your boudoir session aren’t improvised—they’re refined, tested, and trusted at the highest professional levels.

A Different Kind of Conference Year
Because of COVID, Imaging USA was held virtually. Instead of presenting on a convention stage, we live-streamed directly from our studio, with a small team helping behind the scenes to make it happen.
What you’re seeing in these images isn’t a ballroom full of photographers—it’s our real studio space, transformed into a teaching environment. Multiple cameras, lighting demonstrations, live posing instruction… and a group of trusted friends helping us bring it all together.
Even though the format was different, the honor was the same: being asked to educate other professionals on boudoir photography at a national level.

What Is Imaging USA?
Imaging USA is an annual national conference where photographers from across the country gather to learn advanced techniques, refine their craft, and elevate their businesses.
To be invited as a speaker means contributing to the education of other professionals—sharing systems, strategies, and creative approaches that help elevate the industry as a whole.
During my presentation, I focused on how intentional posing, thoughtful lighting, and emotionally safe client direction can transform boudoir from “just a photoshoot” into something deeply affirmational.

Why This Matters for Your Boudoir Session
You don’t book a boudoir session because your photographer speaks at conferences.
You book because you want to feel:
Confident
Guided
Seen
Safe
Beautiful in your own skin
But when your photographer teaches other photographers how to create those outcomes, that experience becomes even more intentional.
Every technique I teach—whether it’s posing for different body types, directing clients through vulnerable moments, or creating flattering light—is something you benefit from directly in your session.
The education never stops. The refinement never stops. And that growth comes back to you.

Experience You Can Feel
Most clients don’t ask whether their photographer teaches at national conferences.
But they do feel the difference when they’re working with someone who leads with confidence, clarity, and intention.
That’s the difference professional education makes.
And it’s the difference you deserve.
If you’re considering a boudoir session and want an experience that’s guided, affirmational, and rooted in nationally recognized expertise, I’d love to talk.
