Boudoir as a Wedding Gift | Miss V’s Confidence-Boosting Experience

Like many brides-to-be, Miss V was searching for a meaningful wedding gift for her husband — something personal, something unforgettable. But what she didn’t expect was how much the experience would give back to her.

This wasn’t a veil-and-garter bridal boudoir shoot. It wasn’t themed around lace robes or wedding whites. Instead, it was about stepping outside her comfort zone, trusting the process, and allowing herself to feel beautiful in her own skin.

Before the session, she worried about choosing the right outfits. She wondered if she would “look the part.” What she discovered was something far more powerful than the perfect lingerie set.

What made you choose Boudoir by indigosilver studio?

I found out about indigosilver through my friend Casey, and I joined the private Facebook group.  Immediately, after joining the Facebook group, I knew this was something unique that I wanted to do for myself and as a groom’s present for my upcoming wedding.

What were you nervous about going into your session?

I was nervous about making the right outfit choices as well as looking the “part” in the shoot.

How do you feel now that you’ve completed the session?

During and after the shoot, I felt so empowered!  Before the shoot, Adrienne made me feel so beautiful in hair and makeup.  During the shoot, Lori was so easy to work with and made me look flawless.  She guided my every move and pose so that the photos came out perfect – I never had to wonder if I was making the “right” face or move as Lori guided me through the whole process.  I felt comfortable and sexy, and I left that shoot feeling so amazing about my body.

What was your favorite part of this experience?

My favorite part about the shoot was two-fold – 1) feeling more confident and raising my own self-esteem and 2) having a unique surprise gift to give my husband on our wedding day – the photo book!

If you were to recommend us to your best friend, what would you say?

I would say that every woman needs to do this at least once in her life.  But trust me when I say that once you do it once, you will want to do it again. I think that the entire experience was amazing.
